Head Teacher: Gloria Escobosa Morera
Hi I’m Gloria! I’m originally from Spain, and I've always been someone who loves learning and trying new things. That curiosity has taken me from teaching at the university while completing my doctorate, to curriculum development in the U.S., and now to a classroom where no two days are ever the same. I love asking questions, solving problems, and celebrating all the little wins that make such a big difference. When I'm not at school, you'll probably find me cooking something new, planning my next trip, or exploring with my husband and our dog, Major. I feel so lucky to do work that challenges and inspires me, making every day different.

Assistant: Katie Neubauer
Hi! I'm Katie, and I'm so excited to be part of the UP team! I've worked with elementary-aged children for the past five years as a Certified Behavior Technician and love celebrating each child's unique strengths and accomplishments. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and am currently pursuing my master's degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University.
I enjoy creating fun, engaging learning experiences and believe that some of the best progress happens through play, connection, and celebrating the little victories along the way. It's incredibly rewarding to watch children gain confidence as they develop new skills.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, trying new coffee shops, and cheering on the Cougs whenever I get the chance.
